What Impscriber stores
- Audio you record or upload, held in private storage that only your account can read.
- Transcripts of that audio, including speaker labels and timestamps.
- Extracted memory, meaning facts, decisions, commitments, questions and summaries created from your conversations.
- People and projects you create, along with the history and rationale attached to them.
- Voice profiles, meaning short numeric fingerprints of a speaker's voice and the sample clips used to build them, so returning speakers can be recognised.
- Calendar entries, meaning meeting titles, times and attendees, only if you choose to connect a calendar.
- Your account email address, and your display name if you set one.
Why it is stored
Everything above exists to answer your own questions later, such as what you promised someone, why a decision was made, or what to prepare before a meeting. Your content is not used to train shared models, is not sold, and is not shared with other users.
Who can see it
Your data is private to your account. Every table and storage location is protected by row level rules that scope reads and writes to the signed in account, so another user cannot reach your memory. If you connect an AI assistant through the agent integration in Settings, that assistant acts as you, sees only your own memory, and can be disconnected at any time.
Google sign in
If you sign in with Google, Impscriber requests only your basic profile, meaning your name, email address and profile picture. It never requests access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts.
Calendar access
Calendar access is read only. Impscriber reads upcoming meeting titles, times and attendees so recordings can be scheduled and so answers have meeting context. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in your calendar, and you can disconnect a calendar at any time from Settings, which stops all further reads.
Processing services
Transcription and memory extraction are performed by third party AI processing services acting on your behalf. Audio and text are sent only for the purpose of producing your transcript, memory and answers.
Export and deletion
You can export your memory as JSON or CSV from Settings at any time. You can delete individual conversations, voice profiles or memory entries, and you can delete your account, which removes your stored audio, transcripts, memory, voice profiles and calendar connections.
Recording responsibly
You are responsible for having the right to record and upload the conversations you bring into Impscriber, including telling participants where the law requires it.
